Tim Jones

Home

     Born in Los Angeles, California, Tim had a church background and

  attended church often with his mother and siblings. At an early age

  his mother kept a piano in their home and he began piano lessons. By 

  the age of eight Tim was singing in the church choir & began playing

  the drums. In elementary school he sang in the choir and played the

  trumpet earning a spot in the honor band; and in jr. high and high school

  he continued to sing in the school choir and participated in talent shows

  and various music competitions. As a teen he began writing songs and 

   his dream was to be a professional recording artist. 

       After graduating from high school he began producing music, writing

  songs, and by his early 20's he signed with a ganster rap label out of the

  Oakland Bay Area. At this time Tim was living a fast and dangerous life

  which included frequent alcohol and drug use, and running with a fast

  paced street crowd. After loosing friends and family members to

  violence and nearly loosing his life several times, Tim was tired and

  wanted purpose and true meaning for his existence. In a moment of

  desperation he called out to God through Jesus Christ and then his life

  began to change for the better from the inside out.

     By the mid to late 90's Tim began recording gospel music and had a

  positive following  from listeners throughout the west coast region. 

  Crowds began to support his concert events and purchase his albums 

  as an independant producer / artist. Tim has produced music for labels 

  including Jive Records who represent multi-platinum recording artists; 

  and has opened for popular recording artists including Fred Hammond

  as well as worked with a host of independant recording artists. He

   received the nick name "T-smoove" which at one time described his  

  different and unique style of music and delivery.

     Single handedly producing seven of his own inspirational 

  gospel albums, he has independantly distributed  several  

   thousand units throughout the U.S. Region. He is also the music

  director for the organization "Thug exposed.com" which encourages the

  gang & drug affiliated to find purpose and true meaning in life  through the

  love of God by His son, Jesus Christ. You will find Tim Jones producing

  extraordinary music, writing explosive brand new songs, and reaching

  souls across the globe with his testimony of God's personal and

  unfailing love & mercy.
